We can't speak highly enough of our time in Cape Town staying at La Rose. Although the weather was shocking this did not matter as Yoann and his wife made up for this with their kind, helpful, enjoyable and friendly hospitality. You were made to feel right at home, which was just perfect. Not knowing where on the garden route we were going Yoann kindly sat us down with maps, his laptop and advice as we put our itinerary together. They really went above and beyond as hosts. The lcoation of the B&B was great in the hip and interesting Malay area (so much better than the toursity over priced Waterfront area) and was really centrally located. The rooms were smallish but so lovely, nicely decorated, cleaned everyday and had brand new bathrooms - so everything you need. The breakfast was also great and filling and was served to you in a lovely relaxing way which was just perfect to start the day. If we ever get back to Cape Town we would definitely stay at La Rose no question. Thank you so much.

La Rose B&B provided one of the best holiday experiences of my life during my recent trip to Cape Town. The B&B is stylish, extremely clean and well-maintained, comfortable, and convenient. The location in Bo'Kaap is walking distance to the downtown and waterfront areas, and immersed in the diverse culture and color of Cape Town. It is a short drive from all the major Cape Town attractions, restaurants, and beaches. The two best features of La Rose, however, are the warm and welcoming owners. They have become friends after just one stay, and went out of their way to ensure I had a great time in Cape Town. The breakfast was prepared to perfection over great conversation (and fresh herbs from their garden!!), and be sure to stay for crepes on Sunday!

I found out about La Rose though tripadvisor and booked two nights in August 08. When we arrived we were stuck by the friendliness and honesty of the owner (Yoann and his wife Adheera). They were so helpful by recommending great places to go around Cape Town, took us around for a quick tour and even picked us up from the hospital when my girlfriend was ill! The B&B itself is new, clean and modern. The location is within walking distance from the trendy area of Waterkant and Waterfront. Long street and Green market square is just minutes away. It was a pleasant stay for us, most of all it was the owner who helped us tremendously.
